Glee-ing Around

Ok, I know that it is Friday and I am late to be talking about Glee.  But can I just say, “Oh Glee, I love thee!”  I watched Wednesday’s show last night and now I am watching it again right now.  I just can’t get enough.

I wish Glee was my life. I would only go back to high school if it meant that I could be that awesome.  I have zero musical ability but if it is possible to travel back in time to high school then I suppose I could magically learn how to sign and find rhythm.  I wish it was next Wednesday.

Now on to the eats…

Glee Spaghetti

Spaghetti Squash is officially Glee Spaghetti in my book.

Glee Spaghetti

I am learning to heart spaghetti squash glee spaghetti.

Oh and ah over the close up:

Glee Spaghetti

I while ago I wanted to have tomatoes, zucchini, and glee spaghetti but I bought the wrong squash. I think zucchini and tomatoes are a perfect match.  Like Jay-Z and Beyonce, Burt and Ernie, Hall and Oats, Posh and Becks, zucchini and tomatoes are made for each other.

Glee Spaghetti

Were you musical in high school? I was forced to play the clainet for 2 years in middle school.  I pretended to play.  I wouln’t make any noise but I would move my fingers around so it looked like I knew what I was doing.

I tried to play the flute too. The music teacher heard my awful playing and said that I should play clarinet instead. Musical instruments and I do not get along :)

Haha – that’s the part that made me so uncomfortable last night!

I’m a fellow clarinet player as well. I did it for far too long though!

Zucchini and tomatoes are the perfect match. And I mean, if you want to add olive oil and garlic, you’ve pretty much got heaven.

FINALLY I meet another person who was twisted enough to PRETEND to play their instrument in school band! I did that too! I have never been musical, ever. But in my school we had to take two years of band. The first year I PRETENDED to play the clarinet, the second year I PRETENDED to play the saxophone. We even had to do band performances and I would have to sit up on stage twiddling my fingers not following along at all. ARGHGH! Those were some rough years.

So now, my musical prowess is limited to singing so badly at such a loud volume that my dogs hide. Oh well.

Anyway. Your meal looks great, I love the tasty combo of veggies!

Remember when I TRIED to play the violin? I was awful. I’d rather listen to music than play it.
