Scary Burrito

Happy Hump Day.  Almost the weekend.

VEGANMOFO IIIToday is Raw Wednesday.

I made this:

scary burrito

Ya’ll know how much I adore collard greens at the moment so I made a collard wrap filled with cucumber, carrots, and one small avocado.

Scary Burrito

Did you notice the awkward carrot on the top of the burrito?  Well, the burrito kept opening and I used the carrot as a weight.  It looks so random and I think that is why I like it.

So why is this burrito so scary?  What is with the name? I listen to music all day at work and today I listened to a heck of a lot of this old school classic:

Hello Spice Girls

Don’t pretend that you weren’t a fan.  My favorite Spice Girl was (and always will be) Scary Spice.  Who was your favorite Spice Girl?

I like the carrot on top. :-) I can’t say I’ve ever really listened to the spice girls, maybe if it was playing on the radio. Is that bad?:-D

Your wrap is gorgeous! Would you believe I have never tried collard greens?!
Oh yeah, I loved the Spice Girls back in the day. I heard a rumour they are reuniting again…minus Posh. She was always my favorite, but I don’t know why!

My friends and I dressed up as them (I was Posh) and did a dance to Wannabe (using moves from the video) for our 8th grade talent show. And in 10th grade, I was Posh for Halloween. Haha!

Ginger Spice was my girl! She had the best outfits. I still love her.

I haven’t made collard wraps in a long time. I think I’ll pick some greens up at the market this weekend. Thanks for the reminder!

I don’t think I’ve ever actually eaten collard greens – is that weird? Your wrap looks very elegant though – random carrot and all ;)

hahaha i hate when wraps don’t stay together, so i uber-ly appreciate the carrot on top.

scary was totally my fave too – probably because my sister made me be her when we videotaped ourselves as the spice girls :)

oh that burrito is anything but scary! it looks soo good! The carrot reminds me when I put my tea kettle on top of my wrap to keep it closed on the stove top!
